Our teams provide an opportunity for everyone to use their gifts to make Sundays and midweek groups and gatherings a place where people encounter God and find community. You can be a part of making that happen.
Our hope is that when you become part of one of our teams you will feel connected into the life and vision of the church, as well as feeling enriched and encouraged in your own faith. It is also a great way to get to know people.

Welcome
We want to make people feel instantly at ease and part of the St James family. If you can offer a smile 😀 and pour someone a coffee, we'd love to have you on team.
Kids
We want to see kids enjoy church! Our hope is to see them become lifelong followers of Jesus. If you’re up for arts & crafts, games and teaching kids about God, come join with us.
Youth
If you have a heart to see the next generation follow Jesus with everything they’ve got and and live out their God-given calling, come be part of the youth team 🤟🏾
Production
We capture what’s happening in our gatherings and broadcast it across the world! Whether you’re into video, audio, display or directing, or have no experience at all, we would love to meet you.
Music
We pursue God’s glory together by leading our church in sung worship 🎸 From musicians to vocalists, we’re looking for people who have a passion to lead others wholeheartedly into an encounter with God.
Events
If you love our Christmas services, Weekends Away, Explore Faith nights and Music events, then this is the team for you. We make everyone feel welcome and ensure events run as smoothly as possible.
Community
There are so many ways for you to serve the community - providing Legal Advice, serving those with additional needs, caring for the vulnerable and more. If you’re passionate about helping people in a practical way, join us.
DIY & maintenance
We’re responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the St James buildings and DIY projects. Whether you’re available one day a year or multiple times a week, we’d love your help.
Bookshop
Our team serve those seeking to find great quality Christian books and cards 📖 If you’re able to serve in midweek daytimes, we’d love to hear from you.
Gardening
If you have green fingers and love the outdoors, why not join the team that takes care of the beautiful gardens surrounding the church building 🌱
