What’s on at St James
There’s always something happening at St James
Down below are all the special events we have lined up for the next few months. You can find our regular weekly and monthly diary here: https://www.st-james.org.uk/visit

Church Picnic
Bring some food and have some fun. Let’s catch up with each other over a relaxed picnic.

God, the Bible, and Everything
A brand new live one-man evangelistic comedy show by BBC Sitcom Writer, James Cary
In God, the Bible and Everything, BBC comedy writer and ‘stand-up theologian’ James Cary explains the whole Bible, in one hour, with jokes and a big screen. And maybe even a song or two.
In this fast-moving show, written and developed for audiences of all ages, all faiths and none, James Cary shows how familiar Bible stories still in our culture like Adam and Eve, Noah’s Ark, the Tower of Babel, David and Goliath and Jesus all fit together. Can he really get through all that in 60 minutes? It will be fun finding out!

World Mission Sunday
We will have one of our World Mission Partners, Jane Ingle, with us for this special focus Sunday. Come ready for a Bring and Share lunch after the 10.30 service, and for a special celebration at The Gathering

Baptism Sunday
We’ll be filling the pool at 10.30 and 6, and celebrating new life in Jesus. If you’d like to be baptised, email Mark Murthen

Over breakfast, we'll be thinking biblically about AI, and what part it could and should play in a Christian's life.
This event links with Healthcare Sunday, Oct 19th.
This will cost £5, payable on the day. You can book ahead here.
