St James music
Music for everyone
At our 10.30AM service, you’ll hear a blended musical style combining the best of traditional, theologically-rich hymns and modern worship, seeking to enable the engagement of all members of the church family in worship.
Our 6.00PM service has a much more contemporary musical feel, with the band using the best of modern worship and often presenting old hymns in new and creative ways; all of which is rooted in the desire to point our people to Jesus and sing of what he has done for us.
St James has a wonderful organ designed by H.A. Bate a virtuoso player and inspirational teacher. After years of dedicated fundraising the organ was fully refurbished in 2011 by Harrison & Harrison. The organ adds a unique contribution to worship, special celebrations and community events and is also available for hire.
