-Dave and Sarah have gone
We are so sorry to see Dave and Sarah leave the work with Jyms and Root, but we pray they settle quickly and well in Portsmouth. Do go on praying for them in their new work and for Sarah and the baby due in March.
Now that they have gone, Simon Johnson is now taking on the Root work with the help of Stephen Bazely and Kathy Goddard is continuing her brilliant work with Jyms.

-Root Christmas Hawaiian Event Thu 13 Dec
This year's Root Christmas event has a Hawaiian theme! It takes place on Thursday 13 December, in the Church Centre, from 7.30-10pm. There will be a Christmas dinner, Hawaiian games, and a short Gospel talk - the ideal event to bring a friend to! Tickets cost £5 for Root members, and £3 if you bring a guest. So why not invite a friend and buy a ticket for them! Tickets available now

-Winter Wonderland
Every year at JYMS, we hold a Christmas event called Winter Wonderland. The idea is to put on a performance (Christian musical and talent show) to invite friends and family members to, and raise money for charity by selling tickets. If you have a talent (individual or group), and would like to take part, email Kathy on kathysgoddard@hotmail.com now! The event takes place on Sunday 9 December from 3-4.30pm.
