Youth
The Young People have an important part to play in the life of our church here at St James. We have a brilliant and committed youth team who work with young people between the ages of 11-18. We have two different groups of young people based around school years, Engage and ROOT.
Engage is for those young people in school years 7-9 (from September), aged 11-14.
ROOT is for the older youth, those in year 10-13 (from September), aged 14-18.
These groups meet regularly throughout term time, Engage meets on Friday night and Sunday at the Birchwood Centre (our youth building) and ROOT meets on Wednesday night at different people’s homes in Muswell Hill and Sunday evenings in the Church centre.
Our Vision as a youth team is to build communities of Young People in and around Muswell Hill who know and love Jesus and who are passionate about sharing that with their friends, we want to have a place where any young person can come and feel safe and included.
