ROOT Midweek
Many of ROOT meet weekly for small group Bible studies, these are going to follow a Cell Group structure from this September. Each meeting will be broken down into 4 sections of Welcome, Worship, Word and Witness.
- Welcome: usually an ice breaker game or question, a chance to get to know the group better.
- Worship: This could be sung musical worship but it doesn’t have to be, it could be a member of the group sharing a Psalm. The idea is to have something that allows us to come into a place where we are ready to hear from God.
- Word: Teaching on a particular book of the bible, we will either follow a theme through the term or work through a book of the bible.
- Witness: an opportunity to discuss sharing our faith with our friends and then praying together for those friends and our week ahead.
These small groups are a great way to get to know a smaller group of ROOT better, the groups are split into years 10 and 11 and then other groups of school years 12 and 13.
