- Recruitment and retention of female staff and students - this is proving very difficult, and yet is the most effective way of alleviating poverty.
- More safe opportunities for Miriam to dispense some of the admin and teaching work to Sierra Leoneans. This remains a challenge
- Safety and continued good health for Miriam and family.
- Peaceful elections in July this year.
