Welcome to St James Church

We want all who come to St James to feel welcome whether they are coming to a Sunday service, a midweek activity or a special event.

At the back of church there is a Welcome table with information available for anyone new to church and after all our services there are people who will be happy to talk to you, tell you more about St James, what we do, what's on and how you can get involved. During the week, in office hours any member of our staff will be pleased to tell you about St James. Our bookshop volunteers are also happy to help.

If you are new to our church, please join us at one of our newcomers events. These happen about twice per term and involved joining Chris Green in the vicarage with other newcomers, during one of the services. This is an informal gathering with chance to ask questions about our life at St James.

Newcomers Lunches

We usually hold a newcomers lunch each term after our Sunday morning services. This is an opportunity to help introduce new people to the church, its vision and values and how to get involved in the life of St James. If you are new, would like to find out more about our church family and how you can get connected then please contact Sue Picano for more information at sue.picano@st-james.org.uk or by phone at 020 8442 2829.
