Alpha
Alpha is a short, practical introduction to the Christian faith. It is suitable for anyone enquiring for the first time and also for those who want to brush up on the basics of Christianity. It is relaxed, non-threatening, friendly and fun.
Each evening begins with a meal, which gives everyone a chance to get to know one another. We then have a talk looking at topics such as “Who is Jesus?”, “How can I be sure?” and “Why and how do I pray?”. After the talk we break into small groups for discussion and questions. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.
The course runs on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 pm. We make no charge, but welcome a contribution towards the cost of supper.
