St James’ Drop-in Toddler Group
The 10 to 10 club is St James’ drop in toddler group and is open to pre-school aged children and their carers. It meets on Mondays during school term-times from 9.50 a.m.
There is a two-fold aim:
- To provide a service to families in Muswell Hill
- To get to know and build relationships with the wider community
The club serves the children by providing a safe, friendly environment where they can play and interact with one another. There are activities to promote physical development and co-ordination skills as well as creativity and music development. Activities are both stimulating for the individual and also group related.
We also aim to provide carers with a friendly and caring environment where they can catch up with their friends and meet new people. Great friendships have been made here and we hope to continue this tradition. As the group is so large volunteers are on hand during the whole session and look out for newcomers to the group, trying to make them feel welcome.
Getting involved
- If you feel like this is the place for you just turn up on a Monday during term-time.
- Or maybe you would like to volunteer to help with setting up or clearing up afterwards and making people feel welcome during the session - if so contact Celia Eldridge through the church office.
